For long enough I have been toying with re-creating the entire Parlington history site using different technology from that which the current site is running under. I have looked at a number of different ways of doing it, Modx, WordPress, a straight php swap over the existing technology, or an update using the latest version of Lasso. Each way I look at the issue I hit a major roadblock, getting content into a new system is a big ask.
